With such a large news base we see it important that we create a team to provide both in depth news features and opinions to the news.
We are looking for highly motivated, interesting, witty people to join the team on a freelance basis. These are to be writers who can do either opinion or feature articles in and around the financial world.
Writers will need to be ready to go in depth, beyond and above the story to find a unique perspective instead of just off the cuff facts of the story.
We value the skills listed above over the qualifications below, but having these qualifications will give you an advantage:
- A degree in business, economics or, preferably, financial economics.
- Experience in writing preferably in a web based publication
- Experience in industry such as banking, investment.
Applicants will be required to send in a 600 word sample for opinion columnists and/or a 1000 word sample for feature articles along with their CV.
